The Tour du Rwanda management has confirmed that French cyclist Fabien Doubey, who was wearing the Yellow Jersey, is the official winner of the 2025 Tour du Rwanda.
This decision comes after the seventh stage was declared void, as no rider was able to complete it due to poor road conditions. Heavy rains in Nyabugogo caused mudslides, making the road impassable.
Following this, the race organizers decided to nullify the seventh stage, which meant that Fabien Doubey, who was leading with the Yellow Jersey, was declared the overall winner of the Tour du Rwanda 2025.
The 2024 edition of the Tour du Rwanda was won by British cyclist Joseph Blackmore.
