The President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Tuesday, April 18, received credentials from Ambassador Charles Kayonga representing Rwanda in Turkey.
This moment marks the commencement of Ambassador Kayonga’s tenure as the representative of his homeland in the vibrant and geopolitically crucial nation of Turkey.
Until 2019, a retired Lt. General, Kayonga was Rwanda’s Ambassador to China.
