A Gabonese delegation flew from the capital Libreville to Rwanda to acquaint themselves with mining policy and related operations which may be useful in tackling existing challenges back home.
The Rwanda Mines, Petroleum and Gas board said, it hosted the Gabonese delegation including representatives from the Equatorial Mining Company and the Gabon Investment Promotion Agency (ANPI).
“We shared an overview of Rwanda’s Mining sector, along with the strategic policies to foster the sector’s development,” the Rwanda Mines, Petroleum and Gas board said.
Gabon with a population of 2 million is along the Atlantic coast of Central Africa and has four major exports, petroleum, manganese, uranium, and timber, account for the lion’s share of its gross domestic product.
