A U.S. District Judge, Linda Reade, has ruled that Gervais Ngombwa, 57, a Rwandan, must serve a 15-year jail term for “helping slaughter scores of people during his country’s 1994 genocide”.

Ngombwa has lived in Iowa with his family for two 20 years before being convicted “for immigration fraud caps”, a case that the Anti-Defamation League said is “the most significant U.S. human rights prosecutions in recent years.”
