Republic of Congo and Rwanda are expected to take their existing bilateral ties further in the next three days following the visit by President Denis Sassou-Nguesso.
President Sassou-Nguesso touched down at Kigali International Airport on Friday effectively begining his three-day state visit.
“President of the Republic of the Congo Denis Sassou Nguesso has arrived at Kigali International Airport for a three-day state visit. He was welcomed by President Paul Kagame,” the Rwandan Presidency said without giving more details.
According to his itenerary, President Sassou-Nguesso is also scheduled to address both chambers of the Rwandan Parliament this evening.
President Sassou-Nguesso will also drive to Bugesera district to tour the Institute for Conservation Agriculture(RICA).
