At Jibu, we have always been committed to more than just providing quality water; we are dedicated to making a positive impact on the world. We are excited to announce a significant milestone in our sustainability journey – the launch of Jibu’s Carbon Credit Project in Rwanda.
Jibu is taking proactive steps to reduce carbon emissions and promote responsible business practices. Through our core mission of providing households with access to safe drinking water, we are making a tangible difference in the fight against climate change. By offering an alternative to traditional water purification methods, such as boiling water using charcoal or firewood, we are helping to minimize carbon emissions and reduce the strain on our environment.
How It Works:
Through our innovative approach, we provide affordable, clean water to households across Rwanda. By doing so, we enable families to transition away from the carbon-intensive practices of using charcoal or firewood for water purification. This shift not only ensures access to safe drinking water but also contributes significantly to reducing the carbon footprint in the region.
We would like to extend a warm invitation to all our stakeholders to join us for an informative session to learn more about Jibu’s Carbon Credit Project. During this session, we will provide in-depth insights into our strategies, achievements, and the positive environmental outcomes we anticipate.
