#CHOGM2026 Heats Up St John’s

St John’s city the capital of Antigua and Barbuda is gearing up for the forthcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting scheduled for 1–4 November 2026.

Antigua and Barbuda is an independent Commonwealth country positioned where the Atlantic and Caribbean coverage. This is the location going to host #CHOGM2026.

Heads of Government, Ministers, and representatives from business, civil society, and youth organisations from  56 member countries are lined up for the meeting.

The summit, themed, ‘Accelerating Partnerships and Investment for a Prosperous Commonwealth’, will focus on shared priorities such as climate resilience, trade, innovation, equality, and sustainable development, uniting nations under the spirit of partnership and prosperity.

During the summit several other forums are planned to take place including: Commonwealth Women’s Forum where delegates will highlight women’s political, economic and societal contributions and identify policies to advance gender equality and peace for all.

The People’s Forum which will provide a unique opportunity for the people of the Commonwealth to engage directly with each other; to celebrate shared values and diverse cultures; to interact with leaders, and to participate in shaping both policy and practice.

Commonwealth Youth Forum will present an opportunity to address issues impacting young people and ensure they have a voice and agency in their future.

And Commonwealth Business Forum that will bring together business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs and policymakers from across the Commonwealth to explore trade, investment and partnership opportunities.
