When President Felix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of Congo fielded Juliana Lumumba as candidate for the OIF organisation, he promised enormous support but reality is emerging with a different picture.
Lumumba is very angry that she has not benefited from the necessary support or lobbying efforts for her candidacy at the helm of the OIF, despite the billions promised with great fanfare through declarations by Kinshasa government.
The La Francophonie (OIF) elections are slated for next week in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Lumumba is arguably struggling to convince member states to vote for her in the upcoming election of the secretary general position.

Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF) encompasses a total of 93 member states and governments, which includes full members, associate members, and observer states.
