Streets in these districts were decorated with cloths, banners and ribbons in the RPF colours. Therese Bamporiki, a businesswoman who owns carpentry in Gakenke district told us then that,“We are eagerly waiting for him.” “It is a special day,” says Athanasie Twizeyimana a resident of Gakenke district. “We are ready, you can see the preparations. We are excited, mind you we do this because we love him, we will vote him. No one can replace him.”
