Rwanda has deployed additional troops to Mozambique’s northern province of Cabo Delgado.
Maj Gen Vincent Nyakarundi, the RDF Army Chief of Staff, alongside Commissioner of Police Vincent B. Sano, Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Operations, briefed, yesterday, Rwandan Security Forces at Kami Military Barracks as they prepare for their mission.
Addressing the troops, Maj Gen Vincent Nyakarundi conveyed a message from President Paul Kagame, and Commander-in-Chief of RDF, emphasizing the importance of maintaining discipline and commitment during their deployment.
He commended the current efforts of the forces in the region and urged them to uphold the same standard.
This deployment signifies the robust bilateral relations between Rwanda and Mozambique.
