The National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB) reported on Monday that the country last week (Apr, 1 – 7) exported 380.8Metric Tons of coffee to destinations including Canada, Belgium, and UAE fetching a total of U$ 2,162,129.
Meanwhile, Data for Rwanda-n tea exports for last week shows that 606.3 Metric Tons were exported valued at U$ 1,619,896 to destinations: Pakistan, UK, Kazakhstan, and Iran.
For horticultural (fruits, vegetables & flowers) exports for last week; include, shipment of 524.7MT worth U$876,959. Main countries of destination: DRC, UAE, UK, Netherlands, and Canada.
Other agriculture products exported include; Animal products: U$ 266,001, Cereals, grains & flour: U$ 1,572,259.7, Roots & tubers: U$ 286,702, Pulses: U$ 78,660, Oleaginous crops: U$ 74,484 and Other products: U$ 293,851. Most of these were shipped to DRC, Uganda, and Oman.
