Russian Aerospace Forces have reported that a long-range bomber TU-22M3 crashed early Friday in the Stavropol Krai Region of Southwestern Russia following a Technical Malfunction.
Russian Sources have also claimed that both Pilots were able to eject successfully and were Transported to the Hospital in “Moderate Condition.”
The crash took place after Kh-22 missiles were launched at Odesa. The burning plane fell from the sky and crashed in the Stavropol Region of Russia, located +300km from Ukraine
Russian forces used 22 missiles and 14 drones to attack Ukraine in the early morning of April 19th. 15 missiles and 14 drones were intercepted by air defense.
“This is the first strategic aircraft that Ukraine managed to destroy during the flight. It was striking Ukraine,” Ukrainian air defense / anti-aircraft operators claimed responsibility.
