President Paul Kagame on Tuesday officially opened a two-day retreat with cabinet members and other senior officials focused on delivering Rwanda’s goals of socioeconomic transformation.
This retreat is taking place at Intare Arena, Rusororo in the outskirts of the capital Kigali.
The retreat is being held at a time the country is preparing for the forthcoming General elections scheduled for July this year.
The government is also faced with intense challenges of regional diplomacy as it tries to persistently address the security situation in neighbouring DRC and fixing the diplomatic fallout with Burundi.
