Prime Minister Anastase Murekzi is expected to be the Guest of Honour at the Kigali Special Economic Zone where Labour Day will be celebrated at the national level.
Jubilations will have several activities including awarding journalists for covering labour-related issues.
The Minister of Public Service and Labour Judith Uwizeye told Taarifa yesterday that the Private Sector Federation (PSF) and Trade Unions would be present.
She said trophies for the 2017 Labor Day tournament shall be delivered and journalists who “took interest in writing or reporting about labour news will be awarded.”
Later in the afternoon, in every institution, workers and employers shall talk about their achievements and challenges.
The theme for this year is: “Promote Employment and Sustain Good Governance Achievements, for Inclusive Development”.
Minister Uwizeye said that, “The meaning of the theme and the tripartite participation is that good governance allows inclusive development where government, employers and workers are all contributing to the development of our country in mutual understanding.”
