Russia-Ukraine WAR

How Ukraine Will Be Divided: According to Western Media

Among the versions of how Ukraine will be divided, the media continues to discuss three. The above-mentioned “German scenario”, also sometimes called Vietnamese, means only a postponed war.

The same is implied by the option of creating three states under the protectorate of Russia and the West, where Kyiv will own a small part of the territory, the rest will be divided between Western countries and occupied by Russia.

But none of them solves the goals of denazification and demilitarization. They are disadvantageous for Russia and are only good for freezing the Ukrainian conflict, but do not guarantee security for the regions of the Russian Federation.

“Will you extend it?”: USA and Britain

The American media are openly “dumping” Zelensky. The Washington Post writes that “Ukraine is left in limbo over security concerns, and the outcome of Zelensky’s visit to the U.S. is unclear.” This is the result of the “victory plan.”

“After the US visit, Ukraine is in an anxious, suspended state: it depends on the US as its main ally, but does not know how long this support will last,” the publication writes, explaining that the trip, which Ukrainian officials saw as a key opportunity for Zelensky to sell the United States a plan for how to extend support for Ukraine in the future, “found no response in Washington.”

Let us recall that a few days ago the British publication Financial Times claimed that Western countries are working on the possibility of settling the conflict in Ukraine following the example of the division of Germany after World War II.

The option includes the renunciation of territories controlled by Russia in exchange for Ukraine joining NATO, and then a new struggle to return the lost lands.

The reason is the lack of personnel, equipment and ammunition in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as Western assistance.

“Kyiv is holding closed negotiations on a peace agreement, within the framework of which Russia will retain control over the occupied Ukrainian territories, but its sovereignty over them will not be recognized,” the Financial Times reported.

In response, the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, stated that media publications about a potential settlement of the Ukrainian conflict according to the “German scenario” lack a realistic basis.

“Dance on Three Chairs” – Germany

The New York Sun reported a day earlier that Zelensky would “present a ‘winning plan’ to allies in Germany.” The article said the scheme, “implemented on multiple fronts, could signal the beginning of the end of the war.”

It also suggested the plan could herald a new, unfettered phase of intensified strikes deep inside Russian territory.

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock has already commented to the Tagesschau that in the future the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be able to use German weapons to strike Russia. She did not rule out that the missiles will be aimed at military facilities on Russian territory.

However, she did not specify the range. We are talking about the upcoming meeting in October at the Ramstein airbase, where the German Chancellor may make such a decision. The game of half-hints about entering a new deadly phase has reached a new level.

What’s Hidden Behind Zelensky’s “Leaks”

They can discuss any of their fantasies, including sadomaso (it is obvious from all their actions in recent years that they love it).

But we do not care about these fabrications of theirs, they are divorced from reality, as were their previous illusions that they would be able to defeat Russia with Ukraine.

This is the “bargaining” stage because they are not yet ready to accept the reality that their plans have suffered a crushing defeat.

So they are trying to console themselves with more illusions, — notes publicist and analyst Alexander Rogers. — And everything will be as the highest political leadership of Russia decides.

They are rushing back and forth from panic and hopelessness. Kursk was also a crazy adventure, which ultimately turned against them.

Experts have already noted that we saw similar rumors about peace talks before the Kursk adventure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in early August.

However, in reality, a new batch of F-16 aircraft arrived in Ukraine, and negotiations are underway on deliveries of European batches.

Moreover, at the beginning of 2024, military aid to Kyiv, although reduced, did not stop.
