The ruling FPR Inkotanyi Party selected new women’s and youth organizational leaders in the Northern Province on yesterday, with Party Secretary General Gasamagera Wellars overseeing the election.
Mukarutwaza Alphonsine from Burera District was elected to lead the women’s wing, while Twambazimana Irene from Gakenke District will head the youth wing.
The leadership change demonstrates the party’s commitment to grassroots representation and youth and women’s political empowerment. Both new leaders are expected to mobilize their communities and support the party’s provincial objectives.
The election took place in Musanze, bringing together party members from across the Northern Province to democratically choose their new representatives.
