Equity Bank Rwanda and SINC Today Limited yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at improving access to finance and supporting entrepreneurs in Rwanda’s creative and innovation sectors.

The two organisations will combine their expertise and networks to explore initiatives that help creative businesses qualify for financing, grow their operations and generate sustainable economic opportunities, particularly for young people.

“At Equity Bank Rwanda, we believe that meaningful partnerships are key to unlocking new opportunities and creating sustainable value,” said Hannington Namara, Managing Director of Equity Bank Rwanda.

Cedrick Mupenzi, Chief Executive Officer of SINC Today Limited, said the partnership brings together complementary strengths and opens opportunities for innovative initiatives within the creative and entrepreneurial sectors.

The agreement provides a framework for developing joint programmes. The announcement did not specify funding commitments, an implementation timetable or eligibility requirements for prospective beneficiaries.
