Rwanda have advanced to the quarterfinals of the CAVB Women’s African Nations Championship in Kenya after completing the group stage with a perfect record.
The national women’s volleyball team sealed their place in the last eight with an emphatic 3-0 victory over Burkina Faso, winning the sets 25-19, 25-16 and 25-8.
Rwanda controlled the match throughout, with the widening margins underlining their dominance as Burkina Faso struggled to contain the pressure, particularly in the decisive third set.
The victory capped an impressive run for Rwanda, who won every match without dropping a single set on their way to the quarterfinals.
Their unbeaten campaign now sets up a potentially tougher test in the knockout stage as Rwanda continue their push for a strong finish at the continental championship.
