The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) took center stage at the Rwanda Global Gateway Investment Roadshow, a high-level convening co-organised with the European Union Delegation in Rwanda, designed to strengthen investment ties between Rwanda and Europe’s leading financial institutions.
RDB Deputy CEO Juliana Muganza represented the Board at the event, which brought together a diverse coalition of European development finance institutions, investors, commercial banks, and private sector actors — all focused on exploring investment opportunities across Rwanda’s priority sectors.
Speaking at the roadshow, Muganza described the platform as a critical bridge between Rwanda’s long-term economic vision and the capital, expertise, and networks that European partners can bring.
She emphasised that the event goes beyond information-sharing — it is, at its core, a deal-making platform.
“This roadshow is a deal-making platform where Rwanda’s vision connects with European investors, development finance institutions, and private sector partners to unlock long-term investment opportunities across priority sectors,” she said.
The roadshow reflects Rwanda’s continued drive to position itself as a destination of choice for sustainable, high-impact investment on the African continent.
The collaboration with the EU Delegation further signals the deepening strategic partnership between Rwanda and the European Union under the Global Gateway initiative — the EU’s flagship strategy to drive smart, clean, and secure connections globally, with Africa as a cornerstone.
