Rwanda has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening diplomatic and strategic cooperation with the Republic of Korea following a high-level meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and a delegation from Seoul.

The meeting, held in Kigali on Monday, brought together Minister Nduhungirehe and , Senior Adviser at the Center for International Law of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy.

He was accompanied by , Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Rwanda.

Discussions centered on enhancing cooperation between Rwanda and Korea at both bilateral and multilateral levels, reflecting the growing partnership between the two nations.

Minister Nduhungirehe emphasized interest in expanding collaboration across key sectors, noting that.

“Rwanda values its strong and evolving partnership with the Republic of Korea, particularly in areas that drive sustainable development, innovation, and global cooperation.”

For his part, Mr. Jin Hyun Piak underscored Korea’s commitment to deepening ties with Rwanda, highlighting the importance of continued dialogue and knowledge exchange.

“Our engagement today reflects a shared vision for stronger cooperation, not only between our two countries but also within international platforms where our collaboration can have a broader impact,” he said.

Ambassador Jeong Woo Jin reiterated Korea’s support for Rwanda’s development agenda, pointing to opportunities for increased collaboration in diplomacy, education, and international law.

The meeting marks another step forward in Rwanda–Korea relations, as both countries seek to leverage their partnership to address global challenges and promote mutual growth.

Diplomatic observers note that such engagements are likely to further solidify ties and open new avenues for cooperation in the years ahead.
