Young Rwandan Duo Builds Logistics Bridge Between China and Rwanda

In a business landscape where trust, speed, and global access are everything, two young Rwandan entrepreneurs, Serge Nyungura and Munyaneza Innocent, are making waves in the logistics sector by connecting Rwanda directly to China’s massive trade ecosystem.

Together, they co-founded N&M Express Ltd, a dynamic logistics company based in Kimihurura, Kigali. Specializing in shipping, product sourcing, buyer facilitation, road transport, customs clearance, and even study opportunities in China, the company is redefining how Rwandans access and engage with Chinese markets.

Both Serge and Innocent studied in China, a background that gives them not just language and cultural fluency, but also deep-rooted connections with Chinese manufacturers, exporters, and transporters.

Their combined experience offers more than business savvy—it provides what they call an “abundance advantage” rooted in knowledge, trust, and firsthand exposure.

“Of course we’ve made financial investments,” Serge notes, “but our biggest strength isn’t money. It’s the ability to deliver results based on experience, insight, and relationships built over the years.”

N&M Express Ltd offers a wide range of services, including buyer invitations to Canton fairs with free hotel and transport in China, money exchange, and customs support—all tailored to make global trade more accessible to Rwandan clients.

The firm is currently offering discounted packages as strategy to scale up.

With headquarters at Ubumwe House in Kimihurura, the partners are proving that with courage, knowledge, and cross-cultural experience, young Africans can lead in high-stakes industries once thought out of reach.

“Taking the leap into logistics was intimidating,” says Munyaneza. “But what we’ve learned in China—and how we’re applying it back home—is opening doors for us and for others.”
