Joseph Nsengimana has been swon in this Friday as the new Education Minister in Rwanda at a ceremony presided over by President Paul Kagame, in the capital Kigali
President Kagame noted; “Education is one of the main things we prioritize in the development of our country, in the improvement of the lives of Rwandans and in the interaction between Rwanda and the rest of the world. Education helps. Education is something that we do get in our country, within our capacity, but we also get it from abroad.”
When it comes to things related to Rwanda itself, or related to understanding the world and other peoples who inhabit it as well as our interaction with them, we get it right only when our education can deliver on the much needed knowledge, preparing people to confront the various challenges that the world faces, and they can base on that knowledge to develop and uplift their lives.” President Kagame said.
