The Government of Rwanda has sent two fresh shipments of humanitarian assistance to Gaza, reinforcing its commitment to supporting victims of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the region.
The aid was delivered in partnership with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and received in Amman by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization.
According to the Office of the Government Spokesperson, this week’s shipments included over 40 tons of foodstuffs and essential medical supplies.
The deliveries form part of Rwanda’s continuing contribution to international relief efforts for Gaza, echoing previous support sent earlier this year.
“This effort is part of Rwanda’s solidarity with civilians affected by conflict, particularly in areas facing acute humanitarian distress,” a government official noted.
The aid is expected to be routed through Jordan into Gaza, where access to medical and nutritional support remains critical amid ongoing hostilities.
