Business entities, entrepreneurs from Canada’s Province of Alberta are exploring possible opportunities to tap into in Rwanda.
Prosper Higiro, Rwanda’s High Commissioner on Friday met with officials from the Province of Alberta, the City of Calgary, and Global Affairs Canada.
“They discussed opportunities of collaboration and investment between Rwanda and Alberta,” the High Commissioners office said in a message posted on platform X.
Calgary, a cosmopolitan Alberta city with numerous skyscrapers, owes its rapid growth to its status as the centre of Canada’s oil industry.
Meanwhile, Global Affairs Canada is a government agency defines, shapes and advances Canada’s interests and values in a complex global environment.
The agency manages diplomatic relations, promotes international trade and provides consular assistance.
