Rwanda Cereals & Grain Exports Close in on Coffee and Tea

Weekly statistics from National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB) indicate that Rwandan cereals, grains and flour exports are fetching a substantial amount of revenue slightly close to individual shipments of coffee and tea.

For example, last week alone a combined cereals, grains and flour fetched a total of U$1,283,875 while 287.2MT of coffee earned the country U$1,637,228 and Tea exports fetched a total of U$1,376,300 from volume of 521.1MT.

Data for Rwandan horticultural (fruits, vegetables & flowers) exports for last week (Jan, 14 – 20) indicates; 312.3MT were shipped out and fetched a total of U$661,341. The main destinations include; DRC, UAE, UK, Germany, China, and Nigeria.
