The government of Tanzania has sent to Rwanda January Makamba, Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation accompanied by a delegation with the aim of further boosting ties between the two countries.
While in the Rwandan capital Kigali, the delegation met with President Paul Kagame at Village Urugwiro on Wednesday.
“President Kagame received January Makamba, Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of Tanzania and his delegation. The Minister is in Rwanda on a four-day bilateral visit aimed to boost the two countries’ bilateral ties in various sectors including trade, energy and infrastructure,” Rwandan Presidency said in a post on platform X.
