The Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) has revoked Grace Room Ministries’ operating license with immediate effect.
The faith-based organization, led by Pastor Julienne Kabanda, can no longer legally conduct religious activities in Rwanda.
RGB officials announced the decision at their headquarters, citing the ministry’s failure to comply with regulations governing religious organizations.
“All activities previously conducted by Grace Room Ministries must cease immediately,” reads an RGB statement.
The board highlighted persistent violations of legal requirements, including governance standards established for faith-based institutions.
Religious organizations operating in Rwanda must follow established guidelines, with RGB emphasizing that similar regulatory action awaits any non-compliant institutions.
Grace Room Ministries must address all compliance issues before they can reapply for authorization to resume operations.
