President Kagame Meets EAC Secretary General

Yesterday, President Paul Kagame met with Veronica Nduva, the Secretary General of the East African Community (EAC), for a discussion focused on regional integration and key issues affecting the East African bloc.

The meeting took place in Kigali, as the two leaders addressed various matters critical to the development and strengthening of the EAC.

The discussions centered around enhancing cooperation among EAC member states, promoting economic growth, and tackling shared challenges within the region.

Nduva, who has been at the forefront of pushing for deeper regional ties, reiterated the importance of unity and collaboration in achieving the EAC’s goals.

This meeting underscores Rwanda’s ongoing commitment to playing a leading role in the East African Community, particularly in fostering regional integration and economic development.

Both leaders emphasized the need for continued efforts to build a stronger, more connected East Africa.
