President Kagame Holds Talks with French and Qatari Ministers on Regional Peace and Cooperation

President Paul Kagame has met with top diplomats from France and Qatar to strengthen bilateral ties and discuss regional stability.

During a meeting at Urugwiro Village, President Kagame received French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot. The discussions focused on the strong diplomatic and economic partnership between Rwanda and France, as well as ways to promote peace and security in the region. Relations between the two countries have grown significantly in recent years, with increased collaboration in areas such as trade, defense, and cultural exchange.

Earlier in the day, President Kagame also met with Qatar’s Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi. Their talks centered on bilateral relations and ongoing regional developments, underscoring the close cooperation between Rwanda and Qatar in diplomacy, investment, and infrastructure.

The meetings reflect Rwanda’s active engagement in international diplomacy, particularly in efforts to promote stability and economic growth across the region.
