Residents of Nyahibu and Gakenke districts are appealing to authorities to build a bridge linking the villages bordering Mukungwa river.
The previous bridge Ngoga was washed away by the river after it burst its banks and it has never been restored ever since.
Currently residents have improvised poles on which they cross to either sides of the river.
