A delegation from Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship and Santa Clara University on Friday met with President Paul Kagame at Village Urugwiro, in the capital Kigali.
“Their discussion centered around promoting social entrepreneurship and education opportunities,” according to a communique from the Presidency.
The Miller Center believes that social entrepreneurship is leading the way in transforming markets for good and ultimately propelling society
to end poverty. Further, the center also believes that scalable and replicable social enterprises led by local leaders are in the best position to provide lasting solutions.
Meanwhile, Santa Clara University is a private Jesuit university in Santa Clara, California. Established in 1851, Santa Clara University is the oldest operating institution of higher learning in California.
