President Paul Kagame and Board Chairperson of BK Group Mr. Jean Philippe Prosper met on Monday at village Urugwiro where they discussed strategy and growth opportunities.
“BK Group Chairman Prosper along with BK Group CEO Béata Habyarimana and Bank of Kigali CEO Diane Karusisi met with President Kagame to discuss the strategic direction of BK Group and to formulate actionable pathways for enhancing growth opportunities,” the bank said after the meeting.
Bank of Kigali (BK Group) is listed on both the Nairobi and Rwanda stock markets and its net profit for the year ended December 2022 rose by a 15.1% to Rwf59.7 billion, leading the board to increase dividend payout.
According to BK Group CEO Béata Habyarimana the lender’s subsidiaries reported strong performances during the year, helping boost the bottom-line.
“We remain committed to delivering higher value for our shareholders and investors and are confident that we will continue to achieve even better results in the year 2023,” said Habyarimana.
