As a token of appreciation to its loyal customers, Jibu is running a bottle exchange promotion called EXCHANGE, REPLACE & REFILL!
Arguably Rwanda’s most loved water brand, Jibu started this promotion on the 1st of March and it will run until May 31, 2023.
This promotion is to encourage customers to bring in all their damaged 20 liter tap bottles when they come for their next refill at any Jibu Store or Resell outlet.
Previously, Jibu stores had turned away those who came with a leaking bottle or one with a deformity.
However, Jibu still encourages customers to take good care of their bottles.
It is a customer’s responsibility to handle their bottles well so that they last longer.
More education will be shared on social media platforms as well as in the streets on how best to take better care of your Jibu bottle as well as show you how to detect if your bottle is in good condition or if it has genuine Jibu water.
Jibu bottles are made to last many years of refilling with some being known to have been in existence for about 6 years.
This helps save our environment as supports our President’s drive to reduce single use plastic and remove litter from our streets..
Jibu has been in Rwanda for more than a decade now and are proud to have been the catalyst that drove people to stop boiling water for drinking as it is unsafe.
Providing clean and affordable water to people of all walks of life has made Jibu a household brand.
As you may or may not know, Jibu is a social enterprise that prioritizes impact in our communities. Through local entrepreneurship.
They produce safe drinking water as well as supply other essential products like Jibu Gas (Liquified Petroleum Gas) and Jibu Family Porridge (fortified porridge) all these at affordable prices.
Jibu’s franchise model ensures that you have a Jibu store near you for your convenience and with great service.
At the moment Jibu has almost 60 stores nationwide with each store self-standing and producing its own JIbu water.
The Jibu Franchisee network has authorized resellers that are planted in your neighborhood to ensure you have access to all our products.
These stores then have resellers that help with distributing the products to your doorstep.
Avoid Counterfeit water
Over the past year, as we have grown to be a top brand, the Jibu Quality Control team has found that there are many counterfeiters in the country giving Rwandans unhealthy water.
Some of these fraudsters make copies of Jibu labels and bottles. Court cases are currently ongoing as Jibu works with the relevant authorities to get these people arrested.
Always insist on looking for the bottle top seal and the date of manufacture label at the back of the bottle.
