In its special end-of-year newsletter, released this Saturday, Imbuto Foundation showcases remarkable events and achievements.
Under the patronage of Her Excellency First Lady Jeannette Kagame, pivotal moments marked the period, including the #Kwibohora29 Party celebrating Rwanda’s Liberation on July 2, 2023.
President Paul Kagame and the First Lady also participated in the Women Deliver 2023 Conference, advocating for gender equality.
August featured the “All Women Together 2023 Conference” and the International Youth Day Forum, where the First Lady emphasized the importance of sports in youth development.
The Giants Of Africa’s 20th-anniversary celebration in Kigali further highlighted this cause.
September witnessed the successful closure of the 13th Edified Generation Holiday Camp, benefiting over 750 students supported by the Twige Neza Tutsinde program.
The First Lady’s participation in the 19th Kwita Izina Gorilla Naming Ceremony underscored the Foundation’s commitment to conservation.
October saw Imbuto Foundation’s international engagements, including the High-Level Forum of Women Leaders and a visit to the School of Leadership, Afghanistan, aligning with the International Day of the Girl Child.
The Unity Club Intwararumuri 4th Retreat and 16th Forum emphasized the importance of “Ndi Umunyarwanda.”
Expressing gratitude to outgoing Director General Hon. Sandrine Umutoni, the newsletter highlighted the achievements under her leadership.
The current Acting Director General, Jackson Vugayabagabo, showcased successful projects, including the #EdifiedGeneration scholarship program and #AgriInnovation.
Imbuto Foundation conducted the 13th #EdifiedGeneration holiday camp in September, providing students with opportunities for skill development and mentorship.
The recently launched ArtRwanda-Ubuhanzi aims to identify and support youth in various creative fields.
