An Abercrombie & Kent business class customized boeng 777 landed at Kigali International Airport on Thursday afternoon, February 16, 203 with 60 high-end tourists trotting the globe.
About 20 Safari SUVs convoy drove off to luxury hotels in Kinigi where they stayed before trekking the Virunga mountains this Friday to see the rare mountain gorillas and golden monkeys in the Virunga mist.
This is a second cohort following one that visited end of October last year.

Rwanda is now on their bucket list to their customers.

Rwanda seems to be attracting more tourists and local partners are working around the clock to persuade tourists to stay longer and visit different destinations than just the gorillas.
Paul Muvunyi, Chairman and Director for A&K in Rwanda says, “We wish to have at least one visit every month…after all the first visit received positive recommendations.”
“Apart from Rwanda’s impeachable and beautiful scenery that attracts everyone’s eye, the country is very safe,” Muvunyi says. “Security is one of the major factors. Rwanda is a very safe country, and that qualifies it to the preferable destination for any tourist.”
He also said that there is now a good number of professional guides and drivers with experience for more than 15 years, an asset to the nascent industry.
Muvunyi thanked the support of Rwanda Development Board (RDB)’s support with professional guidance from the airport to the hotels and national the parks.
