Joseph Kabila the head of FRN rebel movement is holding talks with James Swan, the Chief of UN Mission in Congo (MONUSCO).
They are meeting in Goma the capital of North Kivu province.
Swan also doubling as special Representative of the UN Secretary-General is accompanied by a delegation including Brigadier General Givenz Kishombe Sichali, Walter Lotze, advisor, as well as Marilyn Ngum Fru, chief of staff.
On the FRN side, Joseph Kabila is assisted by Corneille Nangaa and Bertrand Bisimwa, both vice-presidents of the movement, as well as two officers including Colonel Imani Nzenze. Moïse Nyarugabo is also present.
The high profile meeting is also attended by a large team of national and international journalists.
