At the Police Training School in Gishari, Rwamagana District, the Deputy Inspector General of Police in Charge of Operations, Vincent Sano on Friday evening hosted a dinner in honor of trainees preparing to complete Cadet Course Intake 14 for the 2025–2026 training period.

The event brought together cadet trainees and senior police officials in recognition of the progress made by the future officers as they near the completion of their training program.

Addressing the trainees, CP Vincent Sano reminded them of the significance of the police uniform and the responsibilities that come with serving the nation.

“The uniform you are preparing to wear represents responsibility, leadership, service to the nation, and the trust that the country places in you,” he said.

He further emphasized the importance of professionalism, integrity, and ethical leadership in policing, noting that operational capability alone is not enough for effective service.

“As future officers, always remember that professionalism is measured not only by operational capability, but also by integrity, ethical conduct, respect for every individual, and the ability to lead by example,” he added.

The cadets are expected to complete their training under Cadet Course Intake 14 before officially joining the ranks of the Rwanda National Police as commissioned officers.
