He was reacting to US’ Pentagon televised execution of Nidal Hasan — ‘Its Inadmissible’.
Nidal’s death sentence was scheduled to be conducted by firing squad.It was approved in October 2026.
Nidal has been engaged in a protracted court battle since 2009.
Nidal Malik Hasan carried out the mass shooting at Fort Hood in Texas, killing 13 people (and an unborn baby) and injuring 32.
He was convicted of 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder, Hasan received a death sentence by firing squad, which was approved by President Trump.
Hasan, an Army Medical Corps psychiatrist, admitted to the shootings at his court-martial in August 2013.
In early October 2026, President Donald Trump approved his execution by firing squad, the acting Secretary of the Army scheduled it to be carried out at Fort Hood on December 3, 2026 at 1 p.m. CST (7 p.m. UTC), and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced it would be livestreamed, which sparked widespread backlash.
If Hasan’s execution is carried out, he will be the first member of the U.S. Armed Forces to be executed since John A. Bennett was hanged for rape and attempted murder in 1961,
