NAEB data shows that between September 7 and 11, 2026, Rwanda exported a total of 8,482 tonnes of agricultural and livestock products, generating $10,649,456 in export revenues.
Agricultural products accounted for the largest share of exports, with 6,673 tonnes shipped to international markets and generating $5,014,066.
Coffee was among the biggest contributors to the week’s export earnings. Rwanda exported 405 tonnes of coffee, generating approximately $2.9 million.
Fruits were also exported in significant quantities, with 484 tonnes earning $978,905. Tea exports stood at 230 tonnes, generating $643,914.
Rwanda also exported 429 tonnes of vegetables, which brought in $458,518, while 12 tonnes of flowers generated $71,578.
Livestock products accounted for 249 tonnes of exports and generated $580,089 during the period.
NAEB said Rwanda’s agricultural and livestock products reached markets in Africa, Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Rwandan coffee was exported to countries including the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, India and South Africa. Tea shipments went to the United Arab Emirates, China, France and South Africa.
Fruits were exported to the United Arab Emirates, China, France and South Africa, while most of Rwanda’s flower exports were destined for the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
Other agricultural products reached markets in Bangladesh, the United States, Kyrgyzstan and countries in East Africa. Livestock products were exported to France, China and other African markets.
The figures highlight the continued role of agricultural and livestock exports in generating foreign exchange for Rwanda, with coffee, fruits, tea, vegetables and other products contributing to the country’s presence in international markets.
