There is growing urge for the youth to vote-in young presidents to run affairs of their countries. Africa has several young presidents with ages ranging from as low as 30.

Little is known about how these young leaders manage national affairs: the challenges they face and the advantages of their young age.

Daniel Francisco Chapo, the President of the Republic of Mocambique (Mozambique) has published a book detailing his own experience as a young man at the helm of the State Management.

Titled: Daniel Francisco Chapo: The Advantages and Challenges of a Young President, his book was unveiled on Tuesday at the Montalto Cinema in the city of Chimoio, Manica province.

The book is authored by Lourenço Lindonde, Secretary of State in Manica province.

The book addresses the trajectory and challenges associated with Daniel Chapo’s leadership, in a context marked by the participation of a new generation in governance processes and the construction of Mozambique’s future.

“The Head of State’s participation in the event is part of the appreciation of intellectual and literary production, as well as the promotion of debate and reflection on topics of national interest,” according to a statement from the organisers.
