Rwanda’s First Lady, Jeannette Kagame, on Friday welcomed the First Lady of the Central African Republic, Brigitte Touadéra, during an official visit aimed at strengthening cooperation and sharing experiences in social development.
During the visit, First Lady Jeannette Kagame introduced her guest to the work of the Imbuto Foundation, highlighting its role in improving the well-being of Rwandans through programs focused on healthcare, education, and youth empowerment.
The foundation has become one of Rwanda’s leading organizations supporting vulnerable communities and investing in the country’s future through human capital development.

Mrs. Kagame shared how the foundation’s initiatives have contributed to expanding access to quality education, promoting better health outcomes, and equipping young people with the skills and opportunities needed to become productive members of society.
The visit provided an opportunity for the two First Ladies to exchange experiences on initiatives that enhance the welfare of women, children, and families, while reinforcing the growing ties between Rwanda and the Central African Republic.
The meeting reflects the continued commitment of both countries to promoting partnerships that advance sustainable development and improve the lives of citizens through people-centered programs.
