Airtel Rwanda has announced a major partnership with Rwandan music icons Bruce Melodie and The Ben for the highly anticipated Summer Country Tour 2026, a nationwide entertainment initiative aimed at amplifying the company’s Hitamo Ibirenze (Switch To More) campaign while bringing music, connectivity and digital opportunities closer to communities across the country.

The partnership underscores Airtel Rwanda’s commitment to providing customers with more value, stronger connectivity, innovative solutions and greater access to opportunities.

Through the tour, Airtel will use the influence of two of Rwanda’s most celebrated artists to engage thousands of fans and strengthen awareness of the benefits available through its products and services.

At the heart of the initiative is the Hitamo Ibirenze campaign, which promotes Airtel’s vision that Rwandans deserve more from their telecommunications provider, including more data, more calls, more SMS, more Airtel Money services and more rewarding customer experiences.

The Summer Country Tour is expected to travel across multiple locations nationwide, creating memorable experiences that combine entertainment with customer engagement.

By bringing together music and technology, Airtel aims to connect directly with communities while showcasing the value of its growing network and digital ecosystem.

Speaking about the partnership, Airtel Rwanda Managing Director Sujay Chakrabarti said the company remains focused on delivering greater value and opportunities to customers across Rwanda.

“At Airtel, we believe that Rwandans deserve more. More value, more opportunities and more experiences. The Summer Country Tour provides us with a unique opportunity to connect with our customers through the universal language of music while showcasing the many ways Airtel continues to give Rwanda more,” he said.

Beyond entertainment, the tour will also promote digital inclusion and smartphone adoption through Airtel’s partnerships with Watu and Simstel.

The initiative will raise awareness about affordable smartphone ownership solutions, helping more Rwandans gain access to digital services, mobile financial solutions, online education platforms and business opportunities.

Fans attending the concerts will have the opportunity to learn more about Airtel’s affordable voice, data and SMS packages, Airtel Money services and other innovative products designed to enhance connectivity and convenience.

Bruce Melodie welcomed the collaboration, emphasizing the power of music to unite people and create lasting experiences within communities.

The Ben also expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, describing the tour as an opportunity to engage directly with fans while celebrating Rwandan talent and the positive impact of meaningful partnerships.

The Summer Country Tour 2026 is expected to attract thousands of attendees and generate extensive engagement through live events, traditional media, digital platforms and social media channels.

The initiative comes as Airtel Rwanda continues to invest heavily in network expansion, digital innovation and customer experience, reinforcing its mission to connect people to the opportunities, services and experiences that matter most in their daily lives.
