Taarifa News Desk has reliably learned that Raila Odinga International Stadium is nearing completion ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The 60,000‑seat ultra-modern facility designed for both football and rugby features, will serve as Kenya’s flagship venue for the continental tournament.
Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo has said that Major structural works have already been completed.
Omollo added that the ongoing teams are now focusing on finishing ICT systems, broadcast infrastructure, and spectator facilities.
The stadium consists of a range of modern technologies including; smart systems, solar energy installations, and rainwater harvesting infrastructure.
