Rwanda National Police, African Leadership University Deepen Partnership on Leadership Training

The Inspector General of Police, CG Felix Namuhoranye, on Thursday received Sidee Dlamini, President and CEO of African Leadership University (ALU), at the Rwanda National Police General Headquarters in Kacyiru, where the two leaders discussed expanding cooperation in leadership development and professional training.

The meeting focused on strengthening the longstanding partnership between the Rwanda National Police and African Leadership University, with particular emphasis on enhancing the capacity of officers enrolled in the Police Senior Command and Staff Course (PSCSC) at the Rwanda Police College.

During the discussions, both sides explored ways to deepen collaboration in leadership and management training, aimed at equipping senior police officers with the strategic skills required to address evolving security challenges and lead modern policing institutions effectively.

The partnership between the Rwanda National Police and African Leadership University has been instrumental in supporting professional development programmes, particularly through the integration of leadership and management expertise into the Police Senior Command and Staff Course.

The meeting reflects the continued commitment of both institutions to investing in high-quality leadership education and strengthening institutional capacity as part of broader efforts to advance professional policing and public service excellence in Rwanda.
