A delegation from the Alliance Fleuve Congo–March 23 Movement (AFC-M23) has reaffirmed its commitment to restoring electricity production in the Ruzizi Hydroelectric Power Plant following a technical assessment mission conducted on Friday, June 5, 2026.

The delegation, led by AFC-M23 Permanent Secretary and Executive Head Benjamin Mbonipa, visited both the National Electricity Company (SNEL) facilities and the Ruzizi power station to evaluate ongoing work, assess operational conditions, and engage directly with staff on the ground.
