A senior officer in the Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF) has been arrested and detained for gross embezzlement and misappropriation of defense funds.
“Colonel Justus Nsereko Busulwa, the Director of Engineering UPDF-Airforce has just been arrested and driven directly to Makindye military detention barracks and is to be charged with gross abuse of office. Over Shs10Billiom in cash has been recovered from his home,” an local Investigative journalist said earlier on Monday via his platform X handle @Ninyetabz.
