Tanzania regime has massively deployed its security apparatus at sensitive installations across the country as fears mount of an impending coup.

Silent online planning for a countrywide uprising has been going on for days according to Home Affairs Minister.

Today December 9 is Tanzania’s Independence anniversary. Protestors wanted to use this national calendar day to flush out the regime which they accuse of stealing an election recently.

Security agencies insist the measures are necessary to prevent what they describe as “organized attempts to destabilize the nation.”

President Samia Suluhu Hassan was declared the winner with nearly 98% of the vote, a result the opposition has rejected as illegitimate.

“We urge all authorities to ensure that the rights to freedom of expression, peaceful assembly and association are fully respected,” said Office of the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR).

Human rights organizations have warned that tensions could escalate rapidly if security forces respond aggressively to any attempted gatherings.

Diplomatic missions in Tanzania have also issued advisories, urging foreign nationals to avoid crowded areas, remain vigilant, and monitor developments closely.

However, the political Opposition groups have accused the regime of weaponizing the law to suppress dissent and prevent Tanzanians from expressing frustration over what they describe as a growing democratic and human rights crisis.
