17 Juveniles in Rehabilitation Center Set to Sit for Primary Leaving Exams

Seventeen children undergoing rehabilitation at the Nyagatare Juvenile Center — sixteen boys and one girl — are set to sit for the national Primary Leaving Examinations (P6), joining thousands of candidates across the country.

These students have been studying at GS Nyagatare, where they attend classes alongside other pupils in the regular school system.

Officials at the center noted that the children have been well-prepared and are confident about performing successfully in the exams.

This development highlights Rwanda’s continued commitment to inclusive education and ensuring that every child, including those in rehabilitation facilities, has access to learning opportunities and a brighter future.
