Zigama CSS Unveils Ambitious 2025 Business Plan at 40th General Assembly

Zigama Credit and Saving Society (ZIGAMA CSS) convened its 40th General Assembly at the RDF Headquarters in Kimihurura, marking a significant step toward achieving its financial growth objectives.

The meeting, held yesterday, was attended by key figures, including the Honourable Minister of Defence, Juvenal Marizamunda, and Nick Barigye, Chairman of the Board of Directors, along with RDF service chiefs, heads of security organs, and other selected members.

The main focus of the assembly was the review and approval of ZIGAMA CSS’s 2025 business plan, which sets ambitious targets for the cooperative. These goals include a substantial increase in gross income and a notable rise in net profit, aiming to strengthen the financial stability and sustainability of the institution.

Minister Marizamunda emphasized the importance of strategic growth and the role ZIGAMA CSS plays in supporting Rwanda’s economic development, particularly in enhancing financial inclusion and empowering its members.

The cooperative’s new business plan aims to leverage its strong foundation to expand its reach and services, ensuring that it continues to provide accessible and reliable financial solutions to its members, including the military and other key sectors.

Barigye, in his remarks, highlighted the significance of the business plan in positioning ZIGAMA CSS as a leader in Rwanda’s financial sector, with a commitment to fostering growth, innovation, and sustainability.

The General Assembly was an important milestone for ZIGAMA CSS as it continues to adapt to changing economic conditions and pursue its long-term vision of financial empowerment for its members.
