From the Apex of Rwanda Broadcasting Agency (RBA), Arthur Asiimwe (photo above) has been moved to Rwanda Embassy in the US as the Deputy Chief of Mission.
Arthur Asiimwe’s appointment follows President Paul Kagame’s Thursday reshuffle in a number of government institutions including foreign affairs docket, Finance Ministry and others.
Asiimwe said in appreciation, “Thank you Excellency, President Paul Kagame for the continued opportunity to serve my country! I will put in all it deserves!”
Other appointments include; Col. (Rtd) Donat Ndamage appointed Rwanda’s High Commissioner-designated to Mozambique.
Lawrence Manzi has been appointed the Ambassador-designate to the new embassy in Brazil.
Urujeni Bakuramutsa, fronted as the Ambassador of Rwanda to the new Rwanda embassy in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Stella Nteziryayo has been appointed the Chief Economist in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MINECOFIN).
Pudence Rubingisa formerly Mayor of the City of Kigali has been pushed to Governor of Eastern Province.
Eric Uwitonze Amahoro was appointed the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of National Unity and Civic Engagement (MINUBUMWE).
Meanwhile, Valens Uwineza has been appointed the Director of Cabinet.
Dr. Félicien Usengumukiza has been appointed the Deputy CEO of Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) while Dr. Willy Mugenzi takes up the slot of Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Rwanda Cooperation Initiative (RCI).
Cleophas Barore has taken up the mantle of Director General of Rwanda Broadcasting Agency (RBA).
These appointments take immediate effect according to the Prime Minister Dr Edouard Ngirente.
